Andy Marcinko - Director
In seventeen seasons at Rhodes, Andy Marcinko has led the soccer program to an overall record of 315-127-25, four conference titles, four NCAA tournament appearances and has been selected Conference Coach of the Year four times. Marcinko came to Rhodes in 1991 after a very successful stint at Richland College in Dallas, Texas, where he took his nationally ranked team to six consecutive NJCAA Tournaments and was selected Regional Coach of the Year three times. We
believe the quality of the staff determines the success of the
camp. The Above and Beyond Staff is comprised of top college coaches
and players, most holding a state or national coaching certificate
with the United States Soccer Foundation (USSF) or the National
Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Each group will
have a head coach and at least one assistant coach to insure quality
instruction. Our player to staff ratio is 8:1.
The group head coach is a college coach or a former collegiate
player who is a licensed coach. Our staff of collegiate players,
many whom are licensed, act as assistants to the group head coaches.
All staff members are accomplished players, but more importantly,
they are teachers who possess the ability to educate and motivate
youth soccer players. |
