Andy Marcinko, Staff

In twenty-four seasons at Rhodes, Andy Marcinko has led the soccer program to an overall record of 352-188-40, four conference titles, four NCAA tournament appearances and has been selected Conference Coach of the Year four times. Marcinko came to Rhodes in 1991 after a very successful stint at Richland College in Dallas, Texas, where he took his nationally ranked team to six consecutive NJCAA Tournaments and was selected Regional Coach of the Year four times. Marcinko's commitment to team development is only surpassed by his commitment to player development.

His players honors include: four All-American, twenty-six All-Region, and eighty-one All-Conference selections. He has also been involved with the Texas, Tennessee and Mississippi State Soccer Associations as a coaching instructor and ODP coach. Marcinko holds a USSF A coaching license, an Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA and has successfully completed International Coaching Certifications from Football Associations in Brazil, Holland and Ireland.

Chambers comes to Rhodes from Gettysburg College, where she served as the assistant coach in 2015 under Matt Garrett with a focus in defensive tactics and goalkeeping. Before Gettysburg, Chambers was at Misericordia University, where she served as a graduate assistant in 2013-2014, while completing her masters in organizational management. 

In her first year at Rhodes, her 2016 players honors include: two All-Region, three Scholar-All Region, 8 All-Conference selections and one Defensive Player of the Year.  She will be involved with the Collierville Soccer Association for the 2017-2018 club season.   

Chambers is a 2012 graduate of Loras College, Where she graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in physical education and a minor in coaching.  A standout goalie, she was a two-time All-Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection and received NCAA Division III All-Midwest Region honors.  Chambers is pursuing her USSF license this year.

Matt Lamb, Staff

Matt Lamb begins his third season as the Assistant Coach for the Rhodes College men’s soccer program.

Before coaching at Rhodes, Lamb spent one year in Maine as the assistant coach at the University of Maine at Farmington. While in the Northeast, Lamb also worked with GPS Maine as the head coach of the u9 and u10 boys’ teams.
Prior to his coaching career, Lamb worked in the Special Events department at Major League Soccer performing an array of marketing and operations tasks in conjunction to MLS Cup 2012 and the 2012 AT&T MLS All-Star Game.
Lamb earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Mary Washington where he was a four year athlete and two-time captain of the Men’s Soccer team. He recently earned his USSF “E” license and is pursuing his “D” license this year.
A native of Westport, Connecticut, Lamb grew up playing for Beachside SC and played four years at Staples High School.
